Herndon Parks & Gardens
Trailside Park offers a picnic shelter which is available for reservation. The park also features picnic tables, grills, play apparatus, and an open play area.
As the name implies, Alabama Drive Park is located on Alabama Drive. Many sporting activities can be enjoyed at the 10 acres park, which features two lighted basketball courts, soccer, little league and Babe Ruth baseball fields, and a tot lot.
Cuttermill Park can be found between the Cuttermill and Westfield subdivisions. The 6 acres park features a tot lot, baseball/t-ball fields, walking areas, and a multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball. Younger children can play on the mini-basketball court.
Bready Park features picnic tables, softball, soccer, and little league fields, six lighted tennis courts, and play apparatus. An activity center and indoor tennis are also available at the park. Bready Park is located adjacent to the Herndon Community Center.
This 10 acres park has mostly been left in its natural state and features a shelter, picnic areas, walking trails, and a play area.
This local Herndon park offers two 60' baseball/softball fields, a soccer/multi-use field, basketball and volleyball courts, and a play area.
Runnymede Park is a 58 acres community nature park. Visitors will be able to walk along Sugarland Run Stream and will have the opportunity to see over 100 species of birds, deer, fox, and other wildlife.
Bruin Park is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The 8 acres park has a vast play area, picnic shelter, two tennis courts, a softball field, and basketball court.
Chandon Park is a local Herndon park offering two tennis courts, a tot play area, a softball field, and an off leash dog area.
